Step 1
You need to sign up at https://manage.3dstream.net and verify your email address before you’re able to log in and start managing your streams. All your information is confidential and protected by our Privacy Policy.
In order to be able to start streaming, you need to add some funds to your account, but don’t worry, you can do so starting at $10.
We don’t have any recurring charges nor subscriptions.
Step 2
Let’s create your first stream! Just click on the “Add Stream” button and enter a name for your stream. You should also select if you want our system to read your stream from a URL or if you want to push it to our system using RTMP.
If you’re using our Android app to stream, then you should select RTMP Push as the input source.
If you need help setting up your source stream, don’t hesitate to open a support ticket and we’ll do our best to walk you through the process.
Step 3
It’s time to select the 3D format(s) that you want us to convert your stream into. You’ll find the list of supported formats in the drop-down field. Our system will calculate the cost-per-minute of conversion as well as the bandwidth (bitrate) of the converted stream(s).
You should also select if you want our system to re-stream to another source (like a social network, video website, your own CDN, etc.) or if you want it to enable our CDN to stream to a wider audience. If you select to use our CDN, our system will provide 4 different options based on the number of PoPs (points of presence) that will handle your cast.
Our system will always deliver a “monitoring URL” that you can use to monitor your stream without any further charge.
Step 4
Just click on “Start stream” so that our system starts converting and streaming. If you chose to re-stream to another source, you’ll see that it starts streaming in a few seconds. If you chose to use our CDN to cast, then our system will display the links to play the stream as well as the code to embed a web player in your own website. Our system will deduct from your balance the processing cost as well as the bandwidth costs (if using our CDN) and will alert you if your balance is running low.
